How are people on 3dmark hall of fame getting to 2250 memory speeds - 3000 maxxed out in After Burner is only 2125 on my TUF OC and others.

Not sure a guide exactly out there, but it is just

download nvflash64 from NVIDIA NVFlash 5.867 Download

download the g master vbios from Gigabyte RTX 5090 VBIOS

backup your vbios with gpu-z

place nvflash64 and the g master vbios on the same folder

then shift + right click, open in a terminal/powershell

then

nvflash64.exe -6 -i "vbiosname.rom"

and then follow the instructions there (basically y 2 times)

now not sure if it was just that or i'm missing a parameter

5090 tuf I think keeps triggering ocp, ax1600i. Only started happening since I have the nvidia overlay displaying data. Checked cable and it's fine, using the corsair cable I used with my 4090 fe. Tripping on steel nomad now as well with nvidia overlay on. Going to try without the overlay.

Edit: triggered ocp at the end of the run, consistently before benchmark ends twice now. Only other change I can think of is enabling dldsr but unsure why that would be a problem. Lowered my PT to 90% as well. Going to disable dldsr and rerun.

OCP on the AX1600i is very high, and plenty of users using that PSU with a 5090. Not normal behavior.

I think I isolated the problem, hdr enabled? Which is odd because the monitor and desktop are not plugged into the same wall outlet. Plus, I used a 4090 before with max PT with the same setup and never had ocp trigger at all.

Edit: ran some test with it off, no issues. Turned hdr back on, now no issues with steel nomad. I'm going to chalk it up to weird software shenanigans.

No idea. Was never a problem for my 4090 TUF. You just lose the bottom HDMI port which is what happened with the Waterforce bios. I might try the Ice bios too. Maybe it will bizarrely work too. Otherwise I'll just wait for the Alphacool block. Hopefully they actually ship in the next couple of weeks.

Sorry to resurrect but were you able to flash Master BIOS to Astral? I have TUF OC under an EK block - looking to get more performance. Thought about trying the Astral LC BIOS but don't want to screw things up.

talk about luck huh lol. Did Newegg mention it right after you placed the order for the bundle? I thought they would try to bundle a similar priced item if that particular unit wasn't available.

Definitely. The GPU shippped and then about a day later I got notified the bundle item was out of stock. No clue why they didn’t include another but not complaining!

A few people have access to XOC firmware from Asus. Nvidia prefer to lock down their cards more and more. So be happy you can get 3000 in MSI AB and can move the core slider as far you can. Maybe Nvidia will take a closer look at max core clocks with 6000 series. Wouldn't max 300 on the core be nice? And only a very few chosen ones could do whatever they want with their +++3000$ purchase.

Did anyone make shunt mod on 5090 FE with success? I never did it before but found a 1M0 resistor, soldered wires on polars of original R001 resistor and connected it externaly. However I didn't notice any chandes in powe draw behaviral, still getting 600W and no chandes in OC, temps or any other signs it may work. I also tryed to short the wires and multiple other resistors. Did test it with voltmetr, delta is 0.4V or close to 12V against mass, so I'm pretty sure it's still soldered inside.
IDK what else it could be, the only thoughts is that maybe the resistor should be soldered directly on top of old one, could wires change resisting parameters so it's becomes useless? My wires are relatevely thin...

Alright, I did shunt mod with R002 and also LC home made fancy BS))
On exact same config now getting ~16 150 instead ~15 400 in Nomad

So with 900W power shunt mod now FE getting 560W max, higer frequency, stable and higher voltage, better 1% low. TY guys for help, this wires confused a lot, and as POC it actually works as well))
