It's not an expansion, it's usually an entire new game, or close to it, for much cheaper than $60. I look forward to buying this when it comes out, as GTA4 is such a great game.

this is not episodic content. half life 2 episodes are so great because the half life story is epic, and each episode takes us to a new city or area in the half life universe. This is nothing like that. It is an expansion. It is not close to an entire new game. It takes the full game as it is, and gives us another chapter of levels to play IN that game. Same city. same cars. same weapons. How on earth can that be considered an entire new game? Its just more missions to play. You need to stop laying everything down to fanboyism. All games are games for everyone to play and enjoy. We are not divided like post-war germany. Its not PS3 vs 360. Its about microsoft and rockstar making us believe the 360 version would be superior to the other 2 versions and promised us major content in the future. I agree GTA4 is such a great game. But if i were looking forward to this I would be disappointed. Because GTAIV had an immense storyline. But aside from that, it had little else to do. Rockstar should've given that to us with the DLC.

Great so now i anybody who wants these DLC's can look to pay $20 for each of them which i believe is two in total so $40. Great now GTA IV costs $100 all said and done....All i have to say.

true, they were saying this before the game was even released. last year microsoft's spoke person for xbox stated this at some big game conference or show.

This is going to be a massive download. I don't know about others who have a 20gb hardrive, but Im running low on space. All I have on there is 2-3 arcade games, some game saves and gears 2 installed to the hardrive and all I have left is 4 gigs. Time to buy a 60GB I suppose.

I believe it is.

Depending on skill level and amount of time you spend messing around, Rockstar expects The Lost and Damned to take anywhere from 12-20 hours to complete. And that's just the single-player story. For $20 (1,600 MSP), L&D offers a full-fledged campaign, new locations, new mini-games (arm wrestling!), refined gameplay mechanics, new vehicles, new weapons, a hefty new soundtrack, new DJs, new TV shows, new Internet sites, and new multiplayer. One thing's for certain: Rockstar isn't dicking around with horse armor.

Sounds like a whole new game to me, built into the existing world of an existing game, ala an 'episode'. I guess we each have our own definitions.

Oh semantics. How I love thee.

It sounds like a whole new game to me as well. 12-20 hours is more then most games give you these days anyways. It'll be cool to see Niko from a different perspective.

WOW LOVE THE PEOPLE IN HERE SAYING THEY HAVE TO PAY 100 FOR GTA OR 40 FOR EXTRA STUFF. SHUT YOU MOUTHS AND GET OUT OF HERE THEN, YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT. dONT INVOLVE THE PC VERSION EITHER, HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US 360 VERSION OWNERS.

ps didnt realize caps was on.

I think getting 20 hours of game play on already a great game is awesome! I don't know why you guys complain.. If you really want "the perfect DLC" to come out goto school for a few years then go out and work in some low level office at some low level gaming company and earn your ass up to a developer spot for MS or R* and do it. Other then that, quit your whining!! (I feel like i just read a thread where a bunch of 5 year olds wanted a different toy in their happy meal and didn't get it)

Edit: A buck a hour isnt that bad considering min wage (where I live) is 8.50$/hr

one problem though. if this is such a big game, how am i going to fit it on my 20GB drive (of which only 6GB max is useable) and still have room to install other games so i dont have to listen to my harrier jet of a DVD drive? I love my 360, but MS really did make some bad decisions w/ regard to capacity/longevity & shoddyness of the design. :\\

can you not save up and buy a new drive? i hear prices are dropping...

ps, welcome to OCN and nice setup

may i suggest you glance at the E5200 Overclocking Thread on here to help decide iof you want the E5x00 chips for that rig
