kpo specs are the same as Ida's but kpo has a much higher bandwidth and lower latency

KPO and I are using different versions of AIDA64.

AIDA64 says that you can not compare benchmarks between versions and the use of different versions is probably why KPO's memory read and copy benchmarks scores are so much higher than mine.

You shouldn't compare.. but the ball park number is about the same..

I ran both 3.5 and 4.5 got around the same. numbers.

Out of curiosity I downloaded the latest beta, this is the same as KPO's v4.50.3040 and there is no real difference in the results of this one vs the results I posted on page 1 from an earlier version of Aida64.

I wonder if the difference between KPO's results and mine have to do with the difference in our motherboards. Below are the results for the same two sticks of ram at the same timings on a M6E and a Sabertooth Z87. The results were taken with the CPU running at the same 4770K default 3.9GHz / 3900MHz overclock. Note how much faster the same ram at the same clock and ram timings is on the M6E even though on the M6E the ram was running at 9-11-11-31-2T and on the Sabertooth it was running at 9-11-11-31-1T.

I do not know, but the same version of Windows 7 Ult was loaded on both, Win7 was completely updated,

Very little software was loaded on either PC when I made the 3.9GHz benchmarks. Any software loaded on either would have been the same version.

Most BIOS settings on both were at default, but both had the ram set to XMP. The ram timings and freq were all set correctly.

Maybe it has something to do with the M6E default ram settings in the BIOS and the M6E was jacking up the ram read and copy somehow. The write scores are pretty close.

My other guess is you had c-states enabled on your sabertooth..

You should get the full version, or something to see your write speeds. My system does like 30k across the different read/write/copy with 2133 mem, but jumps to 36k/20k/35 or so with 2400. Something about Ivey-e and 2,400mhz bug. Seems to be affecting only a certain ration like 36:3 or something. SO if you have 100mhz strap and 2400 memory your write speed might be off. No way to tell with just the trial version.

My precious sammy's:

Untightened at 2400:
