Hi,

Been trying to figure out which AM5 - preferably X870/E motherboards actually support eCLK, but it seems to something the MB manufacturers doesn't really advertise much..

Do some of you know of some that has it?
And what is the best? Cheapest? and so on..

The cheapest i have found so far is:
ASUS ROG STRIX X870-F GAMING WIFI. Website says "Asynchronous Clock", so it should be - not seen it verified tho..
Asrock X870E Taichi Lite. Should have it based on posts in here.
Both around 530usd(in Norway)

Thanks in advance :)

It's actually surprising that ASUS bothered to add it to such a "low-end" board as the X870-F, seeing how incredibly limited the performance benefits from eCLK are.

Isn't the 9800X3D basically locked to 5450mhz without BCLK/ECLK?
Ofc gains ain't much, but seen ppl run 5750mhz with eclk, which would help some? Or at least make it a bit more fun to OC ^^

Or would a better memspeed-oriented board be a better solution to go with the 9800X3D?

I bought the "cheapest" MB for 9800x3d just for fun. Asrock b650-hdv m.2. Running 8000c34, so pretty close to the 700$ MB out there in performance. Performance per $ on this MB is pretty good 😅

My oppinion: buy the BEST (Gene) , or the cheapest 😎🤟

Both x870e Taichi and x870e Taichi lite from ASRock has it (I have a Taichi). CPU only with PCIE=100.

The new Aorus X870 Tachyon Ice if they ever release it to the public...

Or X670E Taichi Carrara? It should have eCLK. It's massively overpriced but it is mainly white..
