Soon to be released EXPO AMD optimized DDR5 memory.

Likely as with Intel memory, A-die will be preferred. M-die is a close second.

It has been said that like 3800-4000 1-1 the sweet spot for AMD 5000 series CPUs, 6000 1-1 should be the sweet spot for AMD 7000 series CPUs.

Basic DDR5 Timing Rules

tRAS=tRCD+tRTP
tRC=tRAS+tRP
65528 is the correct tREFIab max.
WRRD = WRWR DD
RDRD DD = WTRS.
tFAW = 4x tRRDS
tRFC: Steps of 32 352,384,416,448,480,512,544,576 ^ only matters for REFIab - if 65528 is used.

Hynix M-Die should be good enough if we run it at 6000MHz. Cant wait to get overclocking.

It's good to see 4xdimm works with 6000Mts for Hardware Unboxed. Not a catastrophe with running such compared to the official support numbers.

I'm just waiting for some heatpads so i can install the bitspower heatsinks on my newly arrived a-die :)

Looking forward to test what works best on a 7950x, and if u can run all sticks at the same time..
There should be 0 issues doing up to 6400 with 4-DIMMs on the Asus 4-DIMM daisy chain. It's just much harder to stabilize. I think AMD IMCs might fair better compared to the ADL IMC. No evidence to substantiate this, but I just have a feeling.

I couldn't get two DIMMs to 6400 stable on my Z690 ACE - using nice Dominators and a 12700K.

I'll bet that AMD has significantly better tuning, and that the motherboard manufacturers have learned a thing or two from producing boards for Alder Lake.

[which is why I'm here, to see how y'all do!]

I really don't know what was up with MSI's bogus 6666+ claims, but you could definitely do 6600 on the Strix Z690-F and Hero reliably. You could also do 6400 across 4-DIMMs with enough effort, but certainly 6200 across 4. If you had a 2022 Asus 4-DIMM'er you could probably do 6400 easy, but no one tested it I don't think.
