I'm mostly looking for opinions on this desk. I know I have another thread but that was for deciding on the actual desk. Now that I have this desk. I'm kind of wondering what people think of it. Can it maintain a Raven Silverstone r-02 and monitor? Also, is it long enough for 3 multi-monitor setup? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the one I have

Its not long enough for a triple monitor setup unless you have a. A triple monitor stand or b. really small monitors

- as far as keeping the R-02? I have my FT02 sitting under the desk, it works fine

Ah ok. So no triple monitor at all. Do you know how much weight the top shelf can carry? Cause I have a printer an epson nx printer series that I am wondering if it will hold together. Also, at first I was looking at putting the rv-02 ontop of the desk. That is why I was wondering if it can hold it. I don't like putting a case on the floor, I think it can collect dust easier

Im not sure if its the exact same one, but my old desk was like that. I know it was from ikea, but it had an indent where you would sit, so the front surface wasnt completely straight (not sure if that made sense). Anyway, it was able to hold my triple monitor setup and the top shelf held a bunch of games, some speakers, a few external drives, and a printer. I never had a problem with how much weight was on it, and im sure it could have held quite a bit more. I would have kept the desk, but i moved across the country and figured it wasnt worth bringing out here. All in all a very solid desk

The desk I got is the one from the link. It's exactly that desk. It has 2 shelves and of course the table long. I'm just wondering if it can hold a heavy rv-02 unit plus a monitor, mouse, keyboard. If it can't hold those things I'll need to know a surface where I can put the rv-02 (it's quite heavy). I just don't want the table to break or anything. Also, I don't like putting my case on hard wood floor easily can collect dust. This is mainly my concern with the desk if it can sustain all that stuff.

Also, on the top shelf can it hold a epson NX series printer. I think it's about 20-30 pounds I may be overestimating though

I have this desk and can fit 3 22" monitors easily, my case however sits on top of a set of drawers. As you can see in the pic, i have a 24" and 2 20"s on it from a while back, however I now have 3 22" monitors.

I believe it is exactly the same desk that I currently have. So, it can have all of that on there. Good to know. Right now though I have my case on it. I don't have two other monitors but in case I do I know it will fit. Was it hard to assemble? I had a particular problem when sliding the metal bars in place.

This is my Fredrick desk and I believe it can hold 2 24 inch monitors, but Idk about 3 24 inch monitors. If your 3 monitors are smaller than 24, then it should be fine,

I've taken this desk apart a quite a few times now. It's not too difficult to assemble, although the bars at the top for the top shelving is difficult to put in unless you do both at the same time, kinda have to pry the side posts outwards a little bit to get it to snap into the posts.

That desk looks more like the galant. Anyway I'm thinking of getting the galant but I live too far from an Ikea. Does anyone know where I can get a desk similar to this? I have been without a computer for almost two months because I don't have a desk to put in on.

Have it shipped to you?
Shipping cost $100. Not sure if it's worth it on a $170 item.

It's probably still cheaper for you to make a day trip to the closest ikea than it would be to ship it. I saved that for a rainy day in my area and made a 400 mile round trip to the nearest ikea to me. I got a bunch of other stuff there as well so it justified my trip.

THANK YOU! I am really interested in this product but was turned off by the Ikea product page that said it can fit a monitor up to 19". Great to see my 24" monitor wont have any probs.

Good to know
Holds an up to 19" monitor.
May be completed with FREDRIK drawer for extra storage space.
