I want to tryout a MIE 3.0 for the first time and on ebay they have MIE 3.0 with modified shells with steelaeries logos on them for less then $30, do these MIE 3.0 mice use genuine MIE 3.0 sensors ? or are the knockoff MIE 3.0 sensors ?
are you going to overclock your Microsoft intellimouse explorer 3.0 to 500hz ? and how do you overclock it to 500hz ?
Yes, we talked about this. Unfortunately, on eBay, he is probably the most reliable seller in China for the SS IE 3.0 as far as I know. I hope mine is legit.
Mind if we keep in touch about that? I'd like to try that out once my mouse arrives tbh.Originally Posted by Melan
I tried signing USB OC driver my self once and it worked on Windows 8.1. Though it's a real pain in the ass to do and you'll be better off with Windows 7 anyways or a mouse that actually supports polling rate 500 or above.

From the looks of it, he still sells the steelseries WMOs, but not IE 3.0s
Should be a different shell and same internals, but fakes exist.
