I own an Hayate for 4 month now, and im not sure to recommend it...
As stated in the "how to clean the hayate" thread that mousepad get dirty VERY easily and only after 4 month of usage (around 400h) it is showing signs of wear and tear...
I got mine on the artisan website with japan to france shipping + the border tax and **** it was way too expensive for its durability. (I think ill try a zowie mousepad next)

the Raiden is a lot like the Goliathus Speed, but IMO even better. HOWEVER, very picky about what sensor you use.
which mouse do you plan to use with it?
out of those though, I believe the Hayate. but Raiden is definitely more like it (like a brand new one, at least)

hmm that's unfortunate, my friend has had his for 8 months and he says it is like new once he cleans it off a bit. might just be because of the dirt and such that it feels worn and torn?
the edges however, do fray easily, which sucks

but, the zowie pads are good too!

sorry!
Glass coating. Glide is faster than SHIDEN.
*Not crack when dropped. Can be roll up.

clearly says on artisans site that raiden is glass top
