Hi... I had that one... I pushed it from 2.4ghz to 2.94ghz... with Cooler Master Mars cooling temp was 50C loaded... I had asus MoBo, the bad one, but i think my vcore was on 1.55v with cool&quiet turned on, FSB was 248mhz (stable)... It worked graet...

If your MoBo is good you can sertanly push it higher... Good luck

I had some mem problems... But it was crapy Kingston i think...

Tnx for reply and for informations. I will try where it can go..
I think that i must update bios on my 9npa+ultra, because it's the first one...
And i will buy a new cooler, zalman 9500.

In windows with nvidia control panel i can go to 229 x 12.
If i go to 230 its crashed in OCCT after 2 min.
The voltage is default.
The temperature for 229: 45C load and 29C idle.

Now I'll try in bios..

Loose up your RAM timings and give the CPU .5 more volts

#7 ·
Also reduce the Ht Link to 4X

And unless you have a case with great airflow, DO NOT GET THE ZALMAN 9500! I made the mistake of buying that expensive sucker and I load at 70*C right now with only 1.392v on my Opty. There is much better coolers out there for the same price or less:

Thermaltake Big Typhoon
Tuniq Tower
Thermalright Ultra 120

Just to name a few. If your case isn't a huge case with great airflow, I'd suggest the Big Typhoon out of all that I listed. And put a better CFM fan on it.
