Thank you for your efforts in posting pics and stuff, but this is a 400W at best. It says on the label it has two +12V rails rated at 20A. Normally you can't add those up and figure out the total output, but assuming that you could, 40 times 12 = 480, so that would be the most +12V power you could get out of this unit.
The label is characteristically suspicious, listing no combined rating for the +3.3V and +5V or the +12V, only listing a total combined rating for all rails, which is a prime indicator that the manufacturer has something to hide.
I'd be very surprised that that unit can do more than 450W without something nasty happening to it. It's a good thing your system could run on 300W, but you could have bought much higher quality for £45.32.

 

Indeed that's a highly suspicious rating label, also the PSU isn't listed as certified on the 80 plus website so I would assume that 80 plus badge on the PSU box is faked.

 

It also has no UL certification, which is usually a sign of ultra-cheap Chinese companies that don't adhere to US electrical safety standards.

Also what I can see of the internals through the back grille isn't promising.

I'd say expect anywhere from 300W to 450W at maximum, with mediocre performance and a high probability of early failure.

I just realized it's a 230VAC input unit, so it wouldn't be sold in the US anyway

Edit: actually, a sticker above the power input says 100-240V but the label only says 230V. Go figure. I'm going to go with 230V only.

 

It's hard to tell without opening it up, but I'd guess that it's an old half-bridge unit with the 115VAC voltage doubler switch removed to save on cost.

And then sold for the equivalent of >US$60. Classy.

Guys this PSU cost me £19.00 + £4.50 P+P from eBay LOL, it says SLI Ready & 80 Plus but no where does it say certified any where on the box or PSU so I wouldn't think this would be the best thing in the world. But I don't think my system would push the PSU that hard any ways.

Edit: There is no 80 Plus defined for 230v Internal Redundant PSU's only 80 PLUS Bronze, 80 PLUS Silver, 80 PLUS Gold & 80 PLUS Platinum. 80 Plus is only defined for 115V Internal Non-Redundant PSU's.

Look, it's a piece of garbage and could very well cause damage to your system. This is the type of power supply I'd buy to make a scathing review of because of how terrible it is. It costing 24 quid should have been enough to raise giant red flags with red lights and sirens and yellow tape. Return it, or trash it, and get a quality ~400W that won't kill your system.

No it has two 6 Pin connectors and I got it used the guy had used it for 6 Months or there abouts.

There's no reason for a unit not sold on the US market to have a UL number

According to the label that thing only takes 230VAC so it wouldn't work in the US.

 

Don't bother with this PSU It makes a loud Hum when ever you run anything that starts to push the GPU so have now ditched this PSU, it is now in the trash where is belongs.
