B650M DS3H doesn't want to work

I'm helping a friend building his new PC, it worked fine outside the case for a day, then all sort of issues appeared, also with his temporary GTX 1050.

Basically the system doesn't want to boot into the SSD most of the time, when it does, only with the igpu, it turn off after a while / bsod.

We already tried reseating CPU/RAM, using a known working SATA SSD, EXPO Off, 1 ram stick, CSM Enable (it causes a black screen), another known working PSU and keeping the mobo outside the case.

Nothing seems to help, the pc doesn't want to work anymore since we put it in the case/installed the 1050.

We'll try to reflash the latest bios again, the F20a.

The bsod is really fast and with the better PSU it's not there, it just cut off power, so I don't think it's RAM but probably something related to the motherboard.

Any tips?

Parts List;
-Ryzen 7600
-B650M DS3H (F20a)
-DDR5 32GB CMK32GX5M2B6000Z30
-Gigabyte GTX 1050
-XFX 750W BE Gold (Known Working, Main PSU)
-Old 400W Bronze PSU (Known Working)
-Netac NV7000-t 2TB

Check your PCIE allotment and is the 1050 UEFI enabled? I forget

We did try to set as boot the PCIE Slot 1 and also fully disable the igpu, it didn't work even with CSM on.
Considering I had to manually edit the bios on my old RX580 to enable UEFI, the 1050 is probably not compatible, so CSM is a must, but it's broken.

Could be so many different issues.
First of all, is windows installed? If so was this a clean install or clone of an earlier PC? What version of windows are you using on this PC?

Second, upgrade to latest bios, which it looks like you have already done so.

Third, do a complete reset of the motherboard bios, take out battery, short motherboard reset pins and then re-seat cpu, 1 stick of memory and your VGA card. See if you can boot into windows. If not, can you boot into your bios screen?

If you can boot into bios check to make sure that your SSD, VGA, CPU and memory are all shown correctly in bios hardware or summary section. I usually disable ALL boot options EXCEPT my boot drive.

See if this helps.

In the past I have had issues with old cloned windows installations when the boot drive was set up with a MBR partition instead of the newer GPT partition, it would not boot with a newer UEFI motherboard even with CSM enabled.

Perhaps this might help?

It's clean Windows 10, the exact version idk, installed in the 2tb SSD.
We already took out the battery for a min for a couple of times, the bios reset but nothing. Altho now it started to turn off even while in the bios and temps are in check.
This evening my friend will flash an older bios, if that doesn't work we will replace the mobo.

So it worked outside of the case, then it was assembled into the case and then the issues started? Or are the issues happening outside of the case? If it is the former it sounds like a short and you might want to try removing it from the case and check behind mobo and disconnect front I/0. If it is the latter, then follow along with suggestions above.

Initially it worked outside, than after placing it in the case started to have problems.
I thought about a short too, so we put the mobo outside with just ram and the two main psu cables, but no improvements.
I think while my friend was placing the mobo in the case something broke causing some sort of short, idk how tho, coz he was careful with it. My main mobo had screwdriver and liquid metal falling on it and still works fine, are really Gigabyte mobos this easy to break?!

I took a look through the motherboard manual, it recommends a 500W power supply if any expansion slots are used.

Also the 12V ATX power socket on the top left of the board needs to be connected to the power supply along with the 24pin socket on the right.

Yep, everything is connected, we will reflash the bios and check for anything causing a short, if that doesn't welp, replacing is the only solution.

So you can't boot in to windows.
You can boot into bios, but pc switches off periodically when you are in bios?
Do you have enough time while in bios to see if all hardware is recognized correctly? SSD, GPU, CPU and memory? Have you tried enabling XMP, or optimized bios?

Yep, everything is there, but we given up, the bios flashback doesn't work and using the bios to flash is not safe.
We also checked the mobo for screws or metal object stuck somewhere, but no luck.
Now my friend rebuilt the old pc and he's having video tdr failure BSOD with the same GTX 1050.

My thoery is something shorted the mobo, the mobo broke and maybe the GPU too.
