Hey Guys. So as the title says, which one do you think is closer to giving me the Competitive Edge on FPS Shooting games (CS GO) ? Since I quitted the CRT monitor gaming, my gaming skills and reaction time significantly decreased a lot since I bought an Hp Elitebook 8460p thinking it could be a better option for gaming since it has a better CPU and GPU unlike my old pentium 3 slow pc. So I prioritize the Input and Response time latencies at my first priority on competitive gaming. Which one do you guys think is the best 240Hz monitor with the lowest input lag possible, BenQ Zowie XL2546 or the new HP OMEN X 25f? I've heard some rumors saying that the new Hp Omen X has a new technology of TN Display Panel amd that it has a lower input lag that BenQ Zowie monitor but in the other side I've heard as well that the BenQ Zowie XL2546 is the best option when it comes to competitive gaming also most of cs go pros or any other fps shooting games. I have already pre-ordered the BenQ Zowie Xl2546 in one of the e-Store in my country on sale for 411.50 € and according to them it should come for 2-3 weeks once they re-stock it, the other monitor HP Omen X cost 625.50 € (they might lower the price in the upcoming Black Friday holiday). So which one do you guys think is the best for an Competitive Edge in FPS Shooting game? Thanks, Every opinon will be greatly appreciated!

I can't really find that monitor to be listed on that site: https://gjirafa50.com/aksesore-7/monitore/, And Yeah I'm aware that it uses the DyAc Technology which I think it might even help my aiming skills with the blur reduction. I would still chose the lower input lag and response time tho since I unlock the full potentials of my skills and even getting better. At the moment I have the Sun X7237A which according to some websites it says it has 8 ms response time but might be even higher, as well the input lag should high for competitive gaming. As for the ghosting and blur , i'm getting huge ghosting and blur making it looks like everyone who's shooting at me like he pre-fires. I just can't get competitive in such high latencies , as I already stated up I have lost all my skills and reaction time due to those latencies which makes every game un-playable , at least for me, since I guess I'm very sensitive when it comes to input lag and response time. Thanks for the reply tho

Edit: I do realize that the BenQ Zowie XL2546 is not worth the price but that's all I could find on that e-Store , it originally was 628.50 € without being on sale
https://gjirafa50.com/cka-ka-tre/monitor-benq-xl2546-led-24.5/ , while the Hp Omen X 25F is 625.50 € I guess they might lower this price in the upcoming holiday as well (https://gjirafa50.com/aksesore-7/monitore/gaming/monitor-hp-omen-x-25---led-24.5'/)

I did see them, that's why I wanted to chose the HP OMEN X 25F since it is a new brand of 240Hz monitor with better colors and FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible (might not be that bad having it for later ) while having the response time and input lag lower than the BenQ Zowie xl2540 (I think the are the same monitors , xl 2540 and xl2546 where the only difference is the last one has the DyAc Technology and no vertical syncing feature). The main reason I've ordered this monitor is due to the sale price and the input lag or as it is used by most cs go pros (which I think most of them are just sponsorships obviously). Would rma the BenQ and get the best of the bests. In that link you provided, I've seen even some pros moving to the HP OMEN X 27' as well which I think even others can start moving as well but who know they might be even sponsored

I would go for the HP OMEN X 25F it has G-sync compatible/Free sync. The RTINGS.com HP OMEN X 25F review for gaming is great. link: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/reviews/hp/omen-x-25f

I went from 60 FPS to 144 FPS with this monitor ASUS VG279Q 27" 1920x1080p 144Hz IPS panel G-Sync compatible and my competitive gaming winning average went from bad to good with outstanding competitive edge. The G-Sync compatible reduces stuttering and micro stuttering and eliminates screen tearing. Going from 60 FPS to 144 FPS reduces motion blur when moving the mouse fast, I can clearly see my targets. So with stuttering and motion blur reduced my mouse movement is fast and smooth with muscle memory.:)

I'm looking forward to LG 27GN750 a 27″ IPS Panel with 1920x1080p and 240Hz Refresh Rate monitor for reduced motion blur going from 144 FPS to 240 FPS.:D

That's such a great inspring story. I'm actually still on 60hz but tried both 144hz (BenQ ZOWIE XL2411P 24) and 240hz (Alienware AW2518hf) in those gaming internet "caffes". And to be honest the 144Hz BenQ felt slightly faster than the Alienware 240Hz on my experience, everything was smoothly playing CS GO and faster (normally the 240Hz is smoother but it probably felt slower due to it's input lag which I guess it was higher than the BenQ one based on my experience). I'm actually planing to buil an pc with those specs: I7-8700K with liquid cooling the kraken one ,RTX 2060,16 GB 3200MHz RAM, M.2 NVMe SSD 500 GB and the ROG STRIX Z390-E GAMING Motherboard on a budget of 1K on sale prices (without including the monitor) or below if possible without any RGB things or any "really" good looking case. I think I want to consider the Acer Nitro XF252Q monitor since it has a decent price , lowest input lag and response time out of all the other 240Hz in the market (according to TFTCentral.co.uk but not sure why it is listed on Ratings.com as the 5# for "The lowest input lag monitor" while the HP OMEN X 25F is placed as 1# with the best rating 9.7 out of all the other 240Hz monitor including the BenQ XL2540 monitor), not sure if the measurements of the input lag and response time are accurate on the Ratings site since TFTCentral sounds more believeable and accurate in terms of measuring as they even use the "osiloscope method" which are the most accurate ones where those on Ratings use the "camera method" measuring. Still not sure what to chose, I have already pre-ordered the BenQ Zowie XL2546 and it should be re-stocked for 2-3 weeks for shipping it to me. I have to tell them to order those Acer Nitro XF252Q as well, as I told them about the HP OMEN X 25F then they listed it the next day. Thanks again for your suggestions guys. Much appreciated.
