I have been looking into getting a best gaming mouse for 2025 and narrowed it down to two models after reading reviews and comparisons. Both seem excellent but in slightly different ways, and I’m having trouble deciding which one would suit me best.

Here are the two I’m considering:

Logitech G502 X Plus Wireless Gaming Mouse LIGHTSPEED wireless, LIGHTFORCE switches, LIGHTSYNC RGB, HERO 25K Sensor.

Razer Viper V3 Pro Wireless Esports Gaming Mouse Symmetrical, 54g lightweight, 8K polling, 35K DPI optical sensor, Gen3 switches, 8 programmable buttons, 95 hr battery.

I’m torn between the two Logitech looks better on features and versatility, while Razer seems unbeatable for competitive play.
Has anyone here tried these? Which one would you recommend between the two?

My opinion and not worth much, but buying a suitable mouse is like picking a tie out of your closet. What do you like? My suggestion is to go to a computer store (other than Walmart or the likes) and take a first hand look. Personally I like the Logitech G900 but some don't. Just because Joe Doe on this forum thinks some mouse is the greatest thing out there doesn't mean you're about to like it. Do your homework.

In case you haven't tuned in lately, $100 isn't a lot of dough these days. Ten years ago it was about the same price. I'm not the easiest on any of my PC peripherals, but mine has stood the test of time and is still 'pristine'.

I bought a Endgame Gear OP1 8K V2 Gaming Mouse in Black after my G900 Logitech G900 started to played up. I just left in 2K, 8k polling is too high for the CPU. The mouse isn't great, don't bother, I like to use the non wireless ones. Also the scrolling wheel doesn't freely spin, I want to spin down the page super fast instead of clicking it down lol..

Well, there you go. A matter of preference. BTW, the G900 is wireless is you choose.

Late edit: Neo, are you sure you had a G900. The 'make it click' button is right behind the wheel and yes, you spin like roulette wheel if you like.
