One of my Scythe fans just died. Can I RMA it to NewEgg or Scythe? I bought it from NewEgg less than a year ago. I have yet to see what the warranty period is. I have another one that had a wire come out of the connector and I would like to RMA that one as well.

I've had no problems so far with 1 Ultra Kaze 3000, 4 Ultra Kaze 2000, and 7 1900rpm Slipstreams. Weird that you would have such a high fail rate. For the one with the pin sticking out, do you mean like on the plastic tip? If so you can just stick it back in. Also check if it's not a problem with the CPU fan power for your CPU fan. Try connecting another fan. Other than that I'd probably just buy more. It's 7$CAD for a Slipstream here, and 10$CAD for an Ultra Kaze.

These are $20 fans.
Yeah and they're full of crap IMO. I bought 3, and only 1 works fine atm.

Probably the fan. Both my Ultra Kazes make clicking sounds and I had a slipstream die on me. Basically, I'm staying away from any Scythe fan that uses sleeve bearings for now on.

Yup, that dude is cool he sent me Scythe stickers & a pen with my new replacement Scythe S-Flex F fan. It doesn't take much to ship back to Scythe. I sent mine via USPS Priority mail.
