Vengeance LPX is typically crap ram, and anything 3200 CL16 is generally the worst DDR4 you can buy.

Also Gigabyte boards are the worst for memory overclocking.

Still you could start by posting a taiphoon burner screenshot of your ram to see if it can identify what ICs your ram has, but I would expect it to not get much if any overclock.

I found this calculator recommended on this forum, I suppose it serves to see which parameters I can set to the maximum to overclock my RAM.
If you see in the photo, I clicked Up "Calculate safe" and those CL values came out... and in Red there are written next to those that I have current.
Tell me that I can try to set the values that this calculator tells me from the BIOS .

Considering the timing this looks to be CJR and I think the 16-19-19 is DJR both hynix and not samsung.

 

what are the timings that you advise me to set to try a "light" overclock. thank you.

 

If you don't know anything about overclocking memory, just use the Safe settings in Ryzen Calculator and call it a day. You're going to do more harm than good charging at this blindly.

I was noticing that apart from the Kingston Renegade which are 3600 cl16...all the others at the same price are 3200 cl. this thing is really weird . Thank you for advising me to buy them, so I understood that it is useless to go and spend double for Samsung b-die chips.

If a seller cannot attach the correct photos in the ad, that is itself a huge red flag, you should not be buying from such sellers.

More chance you are going to end up being scammed if you buy that kit.

Buy it brand new from a reputable store, the price should not be expensive, its not only cheap in the UK, it is the same prices brand new in the US as well, and in fact on Kingston's website as well.

Also no lifetime warranty on second hand, and it doesn't seem the seller is including the original invoice. Everything about that listing screams 'Do not buy this'.

4x8 might not be as easy to OC as 2x16, but also gives DR benefit from 4xSR, up to you which you choose.

 

z690/z790 is daisy chain and easier to run 2x8 or 2x16.

Older gens like z390 used t topology and ran better with 4x8.
