Hey guys, so like the title says after I updated CPU-Z to 1.70.0, my Bus Speed all of a sudden fluctuates between 99.98 and 100.01 instead of being always pegged at 100Mhz like the version I had before.

I have cleared CMOS to see if it would solve the problem, but it's still doing the same thing. I set my BIOS settings all back to what I had them before the CMOS clear, so the BCLK is set to 100 manually too. Also, Spread Spectrum is disabled in BIOS as well.

Any ideas here? Not really sure what to do about this.

That is normal behavior. I've seen it across various Intel motherboards and it's nothing to worry about.

Don't worry, it's normal for bus speed to fluctuate a few MHz and it won't affect function or performance.

Thank you both for the reassurance that it's normal, I'm just wondering why the previous version of CPU-Z I was using wasn't showing this fluctuation? Are the sensors with version 1.70 more accurate or something?
