I have a Emerson HDTV. And if i use anything with hd on it (Xbox, Tv, Bluray, ect.) It makes the image to big to fit on the screen so it cuts things of for being to big. Because of that i have to have all my hd devices in 480i. If you can help me please do.

Any help appreciated!

What you are experiencing is over scan. Without knowing your exact TV model, or even having any experience with your TV I can't tell you much how to fix it. There is usually a setting in the TV settings to adjust for over scan. Some TV's require the "game" mode to be set, or only allow it on certain ports on the TV. Wish I could be of more help, but there isn't anything wrong with your stuff, it is just a setting that needs to be made.

Looking through the manual I found for this online I am not seeing a setting for adjusting over scan or anything of the sorts. A quick Google search of the model number and over scan leads me to believe that only HDMI 1 will allow for the adjustment of over scan, but didn't allude as to how to adjust for it.

On all of my Tv's in the house the Remote has the option for adjusting "Zoom" "Stretch" or "Normal". It's not in the menu options. Even my cheap Sceptre Tv from Walmart has an "aspect" button on the remote that changes this.
