BTW... Rebranding such a highend unit was a stupid move on BestBuy's part. It's like selling Seasonic or PCP&C as RocketFish PSUs.

I agree. In fact, I'm told by someone who works at BB, that this whole "rocketfish" concept failed because of exactly what you said..people think its a no-name brand case, kinda like BB's cheapo version of computer components Dynex

 

This is interesting to know, I always walk right past the Rocketfish stuff because I figured it was no-name junk. Next time im in BB I will have to take a look.

 

I think someone from the g33k squad saw your post and jacked up the price, I clicked the link and it says $119.00.

 

if only I could convince the wife to let me have this in the house, I hate having an HTPC case right now, everything is so crammed in there.

That's the online price. Check the brick and motars.... it should be on clearence for around $71.

never knew bestbuy sold cases i though they just sold HP's

 

I've seen this once and a like 2-3 P180 series cases at BB. I will definately look around even though I don't need it

Just got back from Best Buy, they have the case, but its ringing out at $119. I think this has to do with it will be going closeout and at a certain inventory count they drop the price to get rid of them fast. Unfortunately the warehouse my store gets theres from isnt at this level... So no case for me. If anyone buys one and wants to sell me one PM me please.

 

Wow, I would trade my P182SE for that thing... hint, hint.. lol. I gotta swing by the store tomorrow.

I picked one up at my local Best Buy. There's one left now. The crazy thing is, the case was listed at $71.99. When I had brought it over to the counter, it rang up as $47.99! I paid a grand total of $53 dollars for a full sized, Lian Li tower. This case is so ripe for mods it's nuts.

Fyi, the Best Buy I'm referring to is located in the Palisades Center in West Nyak, NY.

Definitely have to swing by BB to check it out. I was in there a couple days ago and the price was the same as the online price but who knows....

That was exactly my feeling, even if I don't use it until I move in 2 years, it is STILL worth it. This thing oozes awesome (I had to clean up all that awesome ooze from the backseat of my car).
