My laptop has a UEFI update option inside the BIOS but for the life of me I can't find a UEFI BIOS online to update it with. I would LOVE to get away from the old blue screen of days past and use the new graphical interface available today. Do MSI laptops support UEFI?
I'm not sure about MSI but I do know that some enterprise grade servers have both UEFI and legacy bios selection that you can choose from. Maybe your lappy's bios has that option?

In the BIOS right now and i can switch between BIOS, UEFI, and UEFI with CSM. It's currently set to UEFI and I still have the blue graphical interface of yore.
Edit: Just to make sure I'm not missunderstood, shouldn't I be seeing the updated graphical interface with a UEFI BIOS?

I'm not sure if it directly translates. My evga board also has uefi but it's basically the same interface as described.
Well that's lame... I built a computer in 2011 and the motherboard came from the factory with UEFI and the updated graphical interface. It's 5 years later and the new graphical interface isn't a standard? Aburd
Is there a particular need for a fancy gui in the bios?
My mobo was released in 2012 iirc and it'd uefi is pretty standard
