I thought the M50 already had a "fun" sound signature with plenty of mid bass.Compared to our base reference Audio Technica ATH M50s, we really enjoyed the soundstage on the 9H. Things sounded more open and the bass was more visible and didn't feel to overpowering where as in the M50s the bass was toned down.
I had DT990s for a while with a Magni/Modi and the Siberia V2s still remained my go to headphone. Call me crazy but I just think they sound really nice and they are soo comfortable.
Nav,
Both USB and 3.5mm.
Sometime it's not about bass... it's open air headphones anyways so the pads don't matter. The Q701 has a big soundstage and that is all about for me. Gaming it is very good since I can hear myself talk over the mic. Everything feel natural.
Looks like ill have to give the Q701 a try thenOriginally Posted by djriful

Noise cancelling is not even a concern for me.
