size and power consumption? if you notice, it doesn't require additional power cables unlike the 460.Originally Posted by 8800GT
somehow i think sticking 380 processing cores with 128bit ddr3 memory is a bit stupid...Seriously, itd be cheaper to use 336 SP's like the gtx 460, and match it with 128bit gddr5. and why would you need 2gb of low bandwidth memory? 28gbs? my radeon 1600 xt had that much when i bought it 5 years ago. Another stupid Cut down card that will be priced so you really gain nothing by going with it over a last gen, mid-tier card...such as a gtx 460 as i previously stated.
And that review kills it in my mind. $100 for that card? It looks decent on paper (save for the memory bit width), but the $100 price tag for the performance you see out of it makes it overpriced. Sell it for $75 and it's a winner, but $100 and it's a flop.
Probably 7750, due to the use of DDR3 in GT640.Originally Posted by Cannon19932006

Which you choose at that price?
They have a single slot version as well.Originally Posted by Ferrari8608
Two slots for the cooler? That's a shame. My 9400 GT has a small cooler that only takes one slot, and that's kinda what I had pictured.
