somehow i think sticking 380 processing cores with 128bit ddr3 memory is a bit stupid...Seriously, itd be cheaper to use 336 SP's like the gtx 460, and match it with 128bit gddr5. and why would you need 2gb of low bandwidth memory? 28gbs? my radeon 1600 xt had that much when i bought it 5 years ago. Another stupid Cut down card that will be priced so you really gain nothing by going with it over a last gen, mid-tier card...such as a gtx 460 as i previously stated.

size and power consumption? if you notice, it doesn't require additional power cables unlike the 460.

If I had one I'd call it "Stumpy."

So kepler is supposed to be more power efficient than GCN. Why is it that the hd 7750 beats thr gt 640 pretty good on performance and only uses about 3-5 watts more power than it?

Guess gcn scales a lot better than we thought. Kepler... not so much.

Awesome, but a big no for me. It's quite overpriced and underperforms the for that price.

I reckon GDDR5 will improve performance by a sizable amount. Both the 7750 and the 640 have 1/4 the amount of cores as the flagship (512/2048; 384/1536) so they should perform similarly once the 640 stops being severely bandwidth limited by GDDR3.

Seriously? 2GB of memory? I'd be surprised if that thing could use more than 512MB before the GPU itself was totally saturated.
