Fx 4100 4.6ghz HD 7950 ?

fx 4100 4.6ghz be enough for 7950 ?

The FX 4100 is a Bulldozer chip. They aren't exactly great options now (Piledriver has replaced them), but for a single CPU setup @ 1080p, it should suffice in getting most of your games running @ 60FPS with relatively high settings. Maybe not CPU-dependent games, but those are few in number.

Yes AMD replace it with a 4300, but a 4170 is running head to head with it. 4300 has less L3 Cache than the 4170 and this is at stock speeds.

sounds like fun, an fx6300 would be best atm, as the max threads I have seen game wise is 6.

also if you don't mind me asking is, which mobo and which power supply are going to be using for this build please?
