Finally installed the Master, seems my 5900x silicon isn't quite bad. This is with stock settings, absolutely nothing touched in Bios, fresh Windows 10 install. Iddles in lower 40 Celsius with Dark Rock Pro 4, vCore 1.47 average, vSOC 1.181v

About the board, so far everything seems to work and high quality; the VRM radiators are basically cold, same temperature as the case. Will continue testing.

Of course there is. When you get it please download several big torrents with Qbitorrent after you set it to use the uTP protocol alone (picture).

Open also task manager / Ethernet section and look at your connection to see how it is then post the results here, along with what router you are using.

Finally done with Curve Optimizer ; sitting on -30 on every core apart the 2 preferred cores who stay on -15 and -20.

PBO completely untouched, idle temperature 36 degrees, full load tops 68 degrees, CPUZ 691 ST, 9976 MT. Every core is boosting sustained to 5ghz (sustained as in several seconds, some cores even 10-15 seconds)

I declare myself satisfied.

Just updated to BIOS F13a, this contains AGESA v1.2.0.0
Also tried the Ryzen CTRv2.0RC3, I gave undervolting a go with the tool. Still a bit unstable tool, but will be nice to give it a go again later as it matures.

An update regarding the Realtek 8125 NIC ARP Loopback issue:

It's NOT solved in the 10.046 drivers and it's still bringing down the entire network along with the routers too.

After complaining to Realtek via email, I got an answer from them in which they sent me a Realtek Hardware Viewer proprietary tool and asked me to take some snapshots and send back.
Saldy I RMA-ed the B550 Master so I can't help them anymore, but if there are here people with this issue willing to help the Realtek dev team, pm me so I can give you the details.

What issue is that?

As to the audio quality do you noticed any static noise with headphones? Do you have complete silence on the audio when no sound is playing?

I ask this because I have an MSI Unify X570 and it has static noise when using headphones and I'm considering the B550 Aorus Master as an alternative.
Do you recommend it?

I have like you one 5900X, and I'm using the PCO curve and in CB20 it reaches 4950Mhz in single core and 4650Mhz in all/multi core.
It is a good sample.
I'm afraid to loose performance going to a B550. Do you think not?

Thanks.

Read the reviews off the US amazon website for Aorus Master...

The Pro V2 doesn't seem to be coming to north america,.. I will probably opt for the original Aorus B550 Pro, as I cannot justify the doubling in cost to go to an X570 Master.

The B550 Master looks like a great board on the surface, but removing the bios battery regularly, and dealing with bios roulette, the fact that amazon removed it,.. pretty much puts it out of the running.

My two big needs are good memory overclocking, and decent onboard sound, so I dont think there are any real options considering, unless you go all the way to X570 Master.

The current public F13a which is based on 1.2.0.0 AGESA was an ustable mess for me on my Gigabyte B550M Aorus Pro-P. I had to revert to F12 which is 1.1.0.0 AGESA to retain my settings. I was getting WHEA errors and bus interconnect errors in hwinfo. The F12 is 100% stable for me with my settings of 3733 mhz RAM tweaked with 1:1 IF and PBO limits disabled +100mhz clock and CO -20 best cores (c1/c5) and -25 on rest of cores.

They took down the F13a BIOS today when I looked. Hopefully a non beta is coming which will be good and allow higher IF clocking. Here's hoping....

Installed the new bios right as I get off work, from the 1.1.0.0 AGESA F12 and for the first time I'm able to boot at 1:1 IF 1900mhz (3800mhz RAM) I haven't tweaked or tested anything, but this is a big step as I hadn't been able to get past the black hole of 3733mhz and 3800mhz 1:1 on IF was giving me no boot and having to reset CMOS. Albeit I'm on AUTO settings for the RAM with very loose timings, this is a huge step. I will tweak my memory soon and also test for stability, but so far no WHEA errors and I'm running PBO limits disabled with CO -28 on c1/c5 and -30 on rest. I'm not sure if this is still a beta bios since it has the c, but the F13a was a complete mess for me and was taken down yesterday or early today and they now posted F13c which is based on 1.2.0.0 AGESA

New F13f is out based on 1.2.0.1 AGESA and is running stable at previous stable bios F12. I haven't tried pushing higher than 3733mhz 1866 IF to see if I can go to 3800mhz or beyond. But I think I'm at the limits of my Bdie anyways.

Just got the b550 aorus pro v2, im coming from asus boards (intel z87) so this is new to me. First, does lettering after the bios version mean its a beta? Unlike msi, asus, etc . Gigabyte doesn't write beta on their bios. I downloaded f13e i think then the next week it was replaced by f13f and now f13g. Anyways the problem I'm having is mostly with the manual smart fan 5 fan curves. They keep shifting after I switch to another header or different screen almost all the time. I tried manually putting pwn instead of auto for my arctic freezer ii liquid cooler fans. But the damn bios keeps messing up the curves. Even worse when it works and sticks for one fan header it doesn't for any other. Same thing happens to my 3-pin fractal case fans.

Forgot to mention this is on a B550 Aorus Pro V2 (they're availble in the U.S. now, got it from newegg).

Kinda crappy that Gigabyte made noises that the V2 would not be sold in NA.

I waited three months for this board, and finally relented and bought the first version, only to have the V2 appear on amazon and newegg two weeks later.

Does anyone know what revision was made to the pro v2? I am on v1 and have had no issues. Only complaint is removing battery to reset bios if needed. Otherwise t-topology works great with my 4x8gb ram kit. Vrm is more than sufficient for what I do, and the board overall is very cool (temp-wise) and very robust as well. Great audio, no network or usb issues. 5800x @ 5+ghz on 4 fastest cores, other four run 4.95, 1900fclk, my ram won't clock higher than 3800 cl16 as it is a hynix kit rated for 3600, so have not bothered to try raising fclk.

1.32v cpu core
Vcore soc 1.08
1.39v to ram, but run a ram cooler to keep them stable at this voltage

Does anyone know what revision was made to the pro v2
Apparently, a mosfet component shortage caused them to change to 6 phases doubled, and while they were at it, they removed the thunderbolt and added a USB 3.2 external header.

It would seem the B550 Master is relatively easy to find for a decent price. Realistically, how reliable is this motherboard?

I think the user reviews seem to point to the cold boot, dual bios shenanigans. Although the terms the users are using are actually "DOA." Are these boards actually dying, or did they not try the battery removal?

Above in this thread I saw complaint about LAN, but that may be fixed. Any other problems with it?
