OK bro, it's time to update to 320.49 WHQL and this time execute a 'clean install' option prior to install.

as I eluded to earlier, do not use the express install.
select custom install and then select the option for a clean install.
then go for it.

Are you aware that I've fixed the problem?
I don't really wanna go messing around with the drivers again in case it re-occurs.
320.18 BETA, has been the only one it has worked with so far, regardless of clean install as I've tried it numerous times.

I'm aware but to be honest I'm not even sure why they have you on that driver in the first place.
if done correctly then this should not have happened in the first place.

what you did initially to mess things up is that you updated drivers or installed drivers and first you needed to default nVidia CP settings
back to maximum performance and showing on one screen THEN you update drivers.
just a FYI...

so yes I'm glad you fixed the issued but like I stated if it was configured correctly in the first place,
this wouldn't have happened.

I don't want to start an argument here, but what did I do to not configure it correctly in the first place?
After the initial install of the Graphics card in the case, I booted up and everything seemed to be going fine, there was a low resolution image on 1 screen (as the drivers hadn't been installed yet) then I installed the latest drivers (320.49 WHQL) and rebooted and that's when the problem occured- there was no signal sent to the monitor (tried with multiple monitors)

Are you saying the problem was with me not properly cleaning out the drivers before I installed the new GPU? Because even after I'd done this to try and solve the problem, the same problem occured. THe only fix that worked was the instructions from post #19 telling me to install the drivers in safe mode and disable integrated graphics at the same time in safe mode.

-Regardless thanks for the advice, I don't wanna seem like I'm hating on you.

no and not trying to argue either it's just I'm speaking from experience with this issue.

next time.... (how's that) you update your drivers, if you have all you monitors connected and configured,
you have to default your nVidia CP settings to maximum performance (you do not necessarily have to disable you accessory display), we're talking primary card
so it's showing on single screen (maximum performance) and then you update your drivers.

perform clean install but I see and hear more people using 'express install' and installing on-top of the older drivers.
then once the install is completed go back into nVidia CP and reconfigure your monitors.

do it this way, (the correct way) and you will not have your screen 'blank out' on you again.

cheers.
