We have just updated RTSS (Rivatuner Statistics Server) towards build 6.6.0. RTSS is part of tweaking tools like MSI AfterBurner and responsible for the overlay, video recording and statistics server. The primary new feature in this release is Vulkan support, among a number of other things. If you use MSI AfterBurner you will get an automated notification to update (if you have that feature enabled)

Source.

Download link.

The first with Vulkan On-Screen Display, screen capture and video capture support.

YES!

maybe i spoke too soon. anyone get video capture in DOOM?

I don't have Doom yet, but I have The Talos Principle and it's working! Both screenshots (below) and video recording. And screenshots while video recording too (it's what I did below).

Note though that starting the Talos Principle in 64-bit mode with Afterburner running immediately crashed the game with a Croteam error box. On a second try with Afterburner not running it worked, switched to Vulkan but then the game froze while in a menu.

32-bit mode seems to be working fine.

Btw, the game has been updated on the 14th with Vulkan improvements, it's running well so far:

Thanks for reporting, I've reproduced the crash and will fix it in the next version. The problem is not specific to 64-bit version of The Talos Principle, both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of it crash when you are trying to change video settings in this game and RTSS Vulkan OSD is active.

And yes, I can also confirm that; late yesterday I also got a crash in the 32-bit version as well while changing a video setting. Well, it was a freeze, the UI froze but the sound was responsive for a few more seconds until it also froze, then I ended the game in the Task Manager. I also managed to get one while in 64-bit mode, so it adds up. The crash I got with a Croteam error box was right after I started the game in 64-bit mode the first time. That one hasn't happened since, but note that I hadn't started the game in a few months (and never in 64-bit mode), so that could have something to do with it.
