So I seem to have messed up my HWINFO64 UI when trying to customize it. Everything is a mess and totally out of order/mixed up now and its very frustrating when trying to monitor temps on various devices.

HWINFO doesn't seem to have a "restore default settings" anywhere in the options and I've tried everything else I can think of as far as uninstalling etc.

TLDR: Anyone know how to do a Clean Install and/or Restore Default Settings in HWINFO64!?

pls haalllppp

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HWiNFO64

delete and everything should go back to as if it was a clean/first install.

Machine-specific settings are stored in registry, because they are deemed non-portable. If they would be saved into the INI file and the user would take this to another machine, it would cause a mess (each machine is different and thus the layout of sensors available is different). Newer versions of HWiNFO have an option to "Backup User Settings", which is easy to restore later.

OOOFF it DOES require a manual regedit? This is what all the Googlings told me but I was sure there must be a simpler way. HWINFO should make that an in-app setting....
