I know this game is designed for Asian markets, but this game has a very serious identity crisis going on. I mean, I thought it looked cool and very "Counter Strike-ish" up until the girl with the big boobs became a sniper...

I mean.... what?

It seems to me that they're trying to combine Combat Arms with Counter Strike.

What's wrong with that? but I guess that's the problem with America. This country has serious manhood issues therefore the games created in such environment will manifest such issues.

Asian gamers on the otherhand are used to seeing women in games therefore they will not react in the way you did. As a matter of fact women have been a part of the military in East Asian countries for centuries, with the exception of Japan, their women have no rights, just like the US.

I think you completely missed the point. It has nothing to do with a distaste for women in games or military.

Having an attractive woman with not enough clothing is what's ruining it, not having a female in a military game. There's nothing wrong with females, they should just have flack vests and be geared like the men, as opposed to having and showing off large breasts/buttocks.

Also there are women in the US military

. The military is still a bit behind socially from the rest of the USA, but they've been steadily coming around. There's been quite a few improvements in regards to women in the US military recently.

We're not trying to bring realism/logic into a game where you can have perfect accuracy with hipfire halfway across the world, are we? Not to mention in CS1.6 the terrorists wore freaking T-shirts while CT wore full combat gear and both parties still had exactly the same amount of health, you wanna explain how that works?

My only concern is the hitboxes...in theory they should be identical but there may (or may not) be a slight advantage given to crouching behind crates...and a disadvantage with peeking around walls

Eh, too bad it's an Asia-only release.

The internet makes a big ho-hum about exploitation of sexy female models and conveniently forgets who this game is being marketed and who are playing first person shooters 90% of the time - males.

And if you do happen to be a politically correct "this isn't realistic, it's sexist!" kind of easily-offended feminist then I guess you're free to criticize a game however you like (opinions opinions)...but keep in mind that neither the developers nor the target audience really give a toss.
If these skins are offered as microtransaction material (and there's a good chance they will be) they will be snapped-up like CRAZY because that's how the market works, despite people on the internet saying "booo keep unrealistically-proportioned women out of my games boooo!" all the time

Wallets will speak a million times louder than any words. In the end most of these ideas are driven by consumer demand, driven by the developers and publishers noting down what works and what doesn't and trying to apply that formula to different games and noting down the results.

If you ARE correct then we should see almost nobody interested in the female models since everyone will be too busy being offended by their unrealistic and exploitative portrayal. Thus the time/effort spent on creating and animating those models will go to waste, the devs will take note of that and try something different next time.

But...both you and me know what is going to happen, I hope?

LMAO at the chicks. The blonde looks like she is 16 but was given a hormones to age her body faster and got massive implants. The brunette seems to have an outer thong? And she would be killed so fast in hand to hand with that 10ft of rope attached to her head, lmao. I know, I know, it's a game blah blah blah. But what is with these nerd wet dream skins? Seriously its ridiculous. Go check out the list of the highest downloaded mods for games like TES series.

Sex appeal, we see this in MMOs and many other games that contain female characters.

But I think you just accidentally reinforced by point about America's manhood issue. You said,

What's wrong with women showing femininity in the military? Have you seen China's Pink Army? Women are dress in a mid-length skirt in uniform that conforms to their figure. Nexon Counter-Strike 2 only exaggerates this by taking it a few steps further, which is the norm according to today's modern gaming environment, because what games that feature women aren't displayed in scantily clad clothing?

Women in the US military are not behind socially from the rest of the US but behind the rest of the world as a nation. Women in the US, regardless in civilian life or in the military, has and always will be seen as subordinates and not as equals.

Whereas militaries in N. & S. Korea and China have women in equal ranking as men but in a women's division. To have a separate women's division with equal ranking as men in the US military is unimaginable. We've only started to acknowledge the issue here, who knows how much longer it will take for actual change.

Equality for women in the US at this point is just a pipe dream. A lot of talk accompanied by little to no action. The environment for women today in the US is on the same level as LBGT.

That pink army is adorable.
