Why the **** do they go with a skinny ass as well just like on the G402?

It 's not like the BUTT on previous mice was a fashion-shape being well rounded and actually as wide as the whole shell allowed it but actually there to support your palm if you need it FFS - yes even for Claw-Grip! What 's next? Spikes on your Mouse since it looks cool?

Well at least this one doesn't seem to have any edges.
Seems like a deal-breaker for me thought.

Thanks for the info!

Gamingmouse shaped after pro gamers feedback.

Lightweight fast gamingmouse developed with progamers to uphold the demands for fast moba games like dota2 and league of legends.
The optical Delta Zero sensor have high precision with adjustable dpi from 240-4000.
4 preprogrammed settings.

All of the 6 buttons are reprogrammable.
Right and left mousebutton are armed with metalsprings

Will be looking for this myself, since Im after a small mouse with sidebutton/s.
The tiny back seems very weird though but its 1 picture, so we will see.

I wonder what the weight of this thing is. Also, I hope the cable isn't as bad as the G100s/G402. Looks promising, though.

True, I noticed that as well. But a lot of people simply like the shape of ambi mice. You shouldn't have to be limited to an "ergonomic" shape to have the privilege of side-buttons.

That is actually the thing that I been looking for forever.
The reason BSTs mouse was high in my waiting list.

There just is no ambi mice with only sidebuttons on left side.

Ambi mice are not just made with the thoughts of being used in both hands, a ton of gamers prefer ambi mice and most people are righthanded.
And a ton of them hate the sidebuttons on the right side but have no choice because they are forced to have them there.

I think manufacturers need to start taking that into account. It's not so much that side-buttons on both sides is an automatic no-go, but the placement/size/etc needs to be more thought out. One of the main reasons I ended up keeping my FK1 over other mice is the fact that the side-buttons are not only small but also very flush with the mouse.

I removed the weight as well. I didn't even go through the trouble of taking the whole foot off, I just stuck the screwdriver right in so now I have a pretty little hole i mine. Didn't affect the glide at all

I honestly don't know why they decided to put in a weight, though. It feels much more balanced/centered without it imo. Oh well, at least it's easy to remove.

That's a good idea, I wish I had thought of doing that. The foot is really thin so the hole is very visible through it. My bottom foot is still fine but that sounds like the better choice when it comes to removing idiotic design choices.

You know, the very first Logitech optical mouse around the year 2000 already had a weight. It was a rectangular block of metal with a hole in the middle screwed into the top shell from the inside (does it still work like this in the G100s?). That first optical mouse had a shape very similar to this current G100s shape.

That first optical mouse was intended to replace a ball mouse with roughly similar shape. I'm guessing at that point in time, they had put that weight in to make it feel like that ball mouse it was intended to replace. If you removed the weight, it was a good bit lighter, but with the weight it felt pretty similar.

So my theory about this is that whenever they work on a new mouse with this shape, they intend to have it replace an older model and always compare it to that one, try to never change the feel much so that old customers get exactly what they know if they buy a new mouse, and the weight stays just because of that.

Some people, me included, like mice that recede at the butt. MX300 based shapes are well loved precisely for that fact.

The butt seems to recede significantly harsher, though. Afraid it won't give any support for palm, could be pure fingertip. At this point I wouldn't call it a successor of or based on anything at all (and I adore G100s etc.).

Doubt it has added weight. New freaky shape, probably some memory and enough LEDs to make up for the difference. "MOBA mouse", so I guess no gyro/accelerometer (or G502's sensor) in this one. Needs to fit those marketing slots. Probably need to try this one out, however, if weight is all right.
