mouse doesnt work in windows 98 setup

i tried to install windows 98 2 times and both time the mouse does not work it is USB any solutions other than buying a PS/2 mouse?

yes the USB keyboard works fine its just the mouse i even tried my razer copperhead and still nothing

The BIOS fires up your USB keyboard for you. Win98 doesn't start up the USB drivers until the end. Just use the keyboard to navigate around until its' installed.
Tab, ctrl-tab, space bar, arrow keys... all you need.

that doesnt work i need a way to click accept the agreement

yeah i got my sig rig running beside my primary, i finally got it but i had to use this keyboard on it because tab key is missing on the one i was using
