It was up until today.

347.52 release= February 10, 2015

345.20 = February 24, 2015

GeForce 341.44 Driver WHQL 341.44 = February 24, 2015

So, 2 driver releases in 1 day I guess? I guess if you are in China and play Final Fantasy XIV, go with the one in the OP.

I'll wait till people test this. The last thread was a mess so I passed on that driver. Honestly I've got older cards and until FFXIV goes to DX11 it's probably a good idea to wait. They keep mentioning that and it's not even updated yet.

 

Uh, correct me if I'm wrong, but is this simply not a security update for old drivers... not a 'new release?' There was probably some glaring security flaw in them and decided they better fix them in case some people are still using them.

The 900 series cards aren't even supported...soooo

look in the drivers' branches, there're alot of drivers out there atm with different branches.

what's with this 'security updates' anyway ?

 

This update is for the older/legacy cards. The 345.xx series and higher drivers do not support GTx 2xx series cards, the new 341.xx series released today does.

Its a miscommunication, the driver department didnt tell the web department which ones to upload.

I guess this was to address that Maxwell crashes a bunch in Metro...

Anyone with 500 series and up shouldn't download those drivers, those drivers are for older cards the likes of 400 and 200 series and lower, which are pretty much obsolete anyway these days.

I enjoy not upgrading since 334

 

Didn't even notice these 341 drivers do not support the 900 series and are mostly legacy and older cards like my Titan

, but then again it doesn't add much anyways. Like Marc79 said the latest are 347.52, and even then I don't see much of a need to update if you have a old or new card.

Also the 960 isn't supported with the latest drivers 345.20 drivers.

It's not an update, it's a previous driver branch. You shouldn't "update" to a smaller number
