Hi guys, I just (today) built a 265k, Z890 Gigabyte Aorus Elite , 4x24GB 6400 CL32 Hynix M-Die build. I've got good DDR5 experience in AMD and seeking your pro tips to train and stabilize 96GB (4x24GB) on Intel.

So far latest BIOS seems stable on XMP but it wouldnt train properly (and then just did). Any pro tips?

Why buy 4x24 instead of 2x48? Is it the same Load for the Board/IMC?

2x48 GB is hard for IMC.
4x24 GB is even harder as i know.
Yes, as I stated, I've got fairly good experience with DDR5 and AM5. However, ever since 9900K I'm setting up this 265K & Z890 system. I don't know some of the Intel Tricks to help DDR5 fully train 4x24GB 6400MHz and have yet not gotten any one from you guys either, other than indicating how hard 4x24GB is for the IMC. I hope somebody with experience can share further insights

Can you get into BIOS at 6400 MT/s?

6000 should be the limit
6000~ was the limit with 4x48gb on a 265k.
So 4x24gb should be a bit better, i know someone here once posted 4x16gb at 7600

Hi Current Settings pass 50000% karhu. Is there anthing I can do to improve timings?

tRFCpb should do 384. Btw, Veii discovered the RFC registries start at 0 instead of 1, so 479/383 is what you should use for tRFC/tRFCpb.

WTR_L/S should work at 18/4 set in BIOS.

tWR 24 in BIOS should work.

RDWRsg/dg should work at 19, possibly 18.

RCD, RCDWR, and RP should work at 45, 46 if not.

Yeah usually. Cold Boot seems to train much easier than hot boots. It is also VT3 stable, but, it fails to train half of the time...
It probably just needs a hair more VDD2 and/or SA voltage to be stable at 6400 JEDEC.

I don't have any experience on Arrow Lake platform, so I could be incorrect.

Hey guys, I've been trying to dial in 8200 on my i9-13900KS / Z790 Apex, and this seems to work well enough, but I was wondering if there are any timings I need to adjust. It's a 2x24GB SK Hynix M die kit. Could anything go lower without issue? I've also tried 8400 but couldn't get it working for the life of me. Thanks!
