now i have an intel based board so i cant use any programs from the ATI wabsite, so, how do i overclock my card??? im new to VGA overclocking, and i wanna be running Crysis WarHead on low-mid detail. rite now my card is working fine, i have CCC tool for ATI cards and i pulled the clocks a little, but i wanna go further, i have an Artic Cooling Accelero L2 Pro GPU cooler instead of the stock, so im ready for da heat, my GPU temps are really low, their in like the low 30 degrees, some programs like ATI tool and Radlink dont work, cuz they cant run on my computer. i have Rivatuner, but i dont know how to use it... please reply.

You could try the new MSI afterburner software too. It's based off of rivatuner IIRC and is pretty damned user friendly.

As far as you Q about AMD. You can get alot of system for the money going AMD. I'm not to "up" on i5 prices tho, as that would be my other consideration for a system.

I can confirm afterburner works for my 4670 on catalyst 9.10 beta. Rivatuner hasnt been updated for a while so it does not work on anything newer than catalyst 9.3, (in my small experience anyway) Another tool that works is GPUTool, its by the maker of GPU-Z.
