It's for a 7800X3D, 3 M2's and 3 PCIE slots for GPU, 10Gb Network Card (pcie x2) and Sound Card (pcie x1).

I'm between these options right now:
  • 300€- MSI MAG X670E Tomahawk Wi-Fi
    • Has an awful recent BIOS that will not detect my SN850x (this problem exists for... 2 months already?) and has ram EXPOstability issues? Otherwise it'd be the perfect choice.
  • 280€- X670 AORUS ELITE AX
    • Has a PCIE-4, which honestly I don't mind but it'd be great just to have PCIE5 to future proof. Possible coil whine? Other than that it's pretty great, the BIOS is good and the VRM's are insane + RAM stability seems to be top notch on these?
Every other B650 wouldn't be worth it since the higher end MB's would be at the same price or not compatible, besides Asrock, which unfortunately is not available / too expensive. Thought about the B650 Asus's but they have USB connection issues and would share M2 bandwith with the 10gb NIC... And Gigabyte's B650's have 2 x16 PCIe format @ x1 (ffs, otherwise I'd pick it)

I don't care about wifi, audio or network to be honest..

My main concerns are BIOS and RAM OC (mainly to tighten timings) + stability, so 8 layer PCB is a must. I could risk it and just take the MSI since it's the most packed and just wait the BIOS updates but I'm not sure..
Their AM4 lineup was great, but how does this one holding up with BIOS updates?

What do you think guys?

Even the MSI MAG B650 Tomahawk WiFi is an excellent board. It is the one I am using with my build. Stable as a rock, has no RAM issues, and has 3 M.2 slots. I don't know if you need 10, but it has 2.5 GBE.

Tomahawk is one of the best value x670e motherboards. But, yeah, it can be annoying. One bios works perfectly and you can set the mem to 6400 and it will actually work. The next, 6000 is restarting your computer on idle. I didn't have a problem with the tomahawk past 1.0.0.8c (I'm pretty sure, was a while ago), but, that's about when I stopped using it.

I personally went for Asus. Despite their recent RMA/Warranty and other reports, they still just make some rock solid boards with great bios' and great features.

Anyway, I'd chose the x670e just for pcie5 alone. I don't use it today. But, I know I will. You may be the same sort of person.
