I'm probably just being stupid here (nothing new!) but looking through options in my bios, and in the power sections are 10% extra current options for SB, GPP, GFX 1 & 2. I assume that SB is southbridge, GFX1 & 2 are the two PCI slots, but what does GPP stand for? Thanks!

Great, cheers for that info. So I guess 10% extra current to it is worthless then?

It has something to do with the PCI-E slots.

Probably the 4x and 1x slots....

I can't remember exactly what GPP stands for but it most certainly isn't General Purpose Preporcessor.

With regards to the GPP BIOS option, GPP refers to any PCI-Express 1x slots on the motherboard. With this in mind I wouldn't recommend raiseing the voltage, nor the voltages for GFX1 and GFX2 either.

Yeah, I was gonna say my definition didn't make any sense given the context. I'm thinking GPP stands for Graphics Pipeline Processor. So maybe that option is to force extra voltage onto your GPU through the motherboards BIOS. I definitely wouldn't recommend tweaking with that option if you're looking to overclock your card.

I'm certain that the GPP in the Asus BIOS doesn't stand for Graphics Pipeline Processor either, as it relates to the voltage of one of the types of PCI-Express bus.

Well thank you very much, Mr. Negativity!
