Guys, I'm slowly losing my faith in my R9 390, ever since I got it I've been having this issue where I would get weird colored lines whenever I try to play a game in full screen, it happens with almost every game (so far only borderlands 2 seems to be working properly in full screen), note: It only happens in 1080p if I turn on super virtual resolution and play full screen @2k the lines disappear. I tried moving it to a different pci slot, used DDU and re-installed drivers (gonna try this again with the newest ones). Here is a picture that shows what is happening

It could almost be bad and/or damaged VRM

Get a refund/replacement.

Edit: it might be something with the monitor not liking the timings or something crazy, maybe try a different monitor. Not very likely but could be.

I'm using an HDMI right now, a previous driver update fixed the issue on borderlands 2 but all the other newer games have this same issue, again it only happens at 1080p, I just lowered fallout 4 to 1776x1000 and it ran perfectly fine on full screen.

It sounds like a borked driver install to me. What driver are you on now? What issues were you having with your previous driver and what driver was it?

Would you please fill out the rigbuilder to help us out.

Also I would completely uninstall the display driver with this guide then reinstall a fresh download of it.

Stock speed 1040hz, It happens on Fo4 and other newer/recently updated games. Older games like borderlands 2 and light games like league of legends work fine. Tried fallout 4 on low settings and it still happens. The rest of the system:

i5-4690K
HyperX 2x4gb @1866mhz
MSI z97 Gaming 5
MSI R9 390 Gaming
EVGA Supernova 750w B2
that's about it. Running windows 10 atm

Was your previous card Nvidia? If so did you remove all those programs/drivers?

I would run a SFC /scannow , maybe DirectX got corrupted at the OS level somehow.

I switched to an old driver that isn't supported by windows 10 and it works fine, the games run like **** but there are no lines, so it might be in fact... a driver issue. I will try to re-install windows 10 tomorrow and see if it fixes the problem.
