Reservoir tubes that fit EKWB

Hello,

I have a Quantum Kinetic TBE 300. I am updating the layout of my PC and want to downsize the length of the reservoir. This model comes with the EK-RES X3 - TUBE 250 (204mm) model of tube. This will be a tad too long. You can order replacement reservoir tubes from EK but the next size down is EK-RES X3 - TUBE 150 (104mm). I don't see anything between 204mm and 104mm. Has anyone had any luck ever buying a different brand of reservoir tube and having the diameter of the tube, threads, etc work out for an EKWB quantum kinetic pump/body.

Have you considered trimming it to the wanted length yourself?

Yeah, the issue is that it is threaded at the top and bottom. One end to thread into the pump housing and the other end to thread the cap onto. If I cut it I don't have any way to re-thread the cut off end.
