Had a ryzen 5000 cpu, i wanted more single core performance
ryzen am5 5 7500f or something bigger
mb cpu,ram,cooler for sale
got my ram,mb and contact frame and cooler, first ordered a ryzen 7700 since it's only around 10 euros more expensive than a 7600x
4.7ghz and 5.3ghz and 6 cores (7600x)
3.8 and 5.3 ghz and 8 cores (7700)
Friday the day after i ordered it (7700), i should have gotten it (cpu), nothing, fy, pissed me so much that googled it, a 7500f is faster in games than a ryzen 5700X3D and i also think it was faster than a ryzen 5800X3D according to youtube.
Multicore is about the same as the 2 first gen X3D cpus BUT single core is much faster than a 5700X3d (which were the improvements i wanted, more single core performance and even faster, higher single core performance on a ryzen 5 9600x but that cpu is more expensive than a ryzen 5900x and a ryzen 7 7700) and half price of a 5800X3D, 1200 vs 2400 of my currency, i would not have more money for buying a cpu for 2400 instead of 1200 (regardless of what i buy i would have to sell my current ryzen 5 am4 cpu)
So buying a 7500f would give me more single core performance than a ryzen 5000, less heat than a 7700 and save minimum 1/3 of a 7700 and half price of a 2400 cpu, if i only would buy a 5800X3D to get more single core performance (1700 for a 7700)
7500f 3.7 and 5.0 ghz 589 in the single thread score using cpu-z with all kinds of things running in the background
7700 3.8 and 5.3 ghz
Google say 140 watt is and 170 watt ish
The question is should i keep the 7500f or the 7700 ?
