Samsung LE19R88BD vs Viewsonic VA1903wb

Hey
I'm currently using a Viewsonic VA1903wb.
My parents received a free Samsung LE19R88BD and I have the opportunity to use it as my monitor.
I'm wondering what would be the best idea. The samsung is actually a TV but takes VGA input.
I'm using the DVI output from my 8800GT's (When the card comes back from RMA

)

(Note, won't be using this as a TV due to no TV license in my accommodation)

I've found the specs here:
Samsung:
http://www.idealo.co.uk/product/8801...le19r88bd.html

Viewsonic:
http://www.viewsonic.com/products/de...ries/va1903wb/

I'm unsure whether it would be best to use a monitor that was designed for a computer or to use the TV that can be used as a monitor.

I could take the DVI output from the Graphics card and put that into the HD input on the card - but I don't know what difference this would make

Any comments are welcome
Thanks a lot

The samsung is good. They apprear to have the same specs so it doesnt really matter taht much. you can always get a DVI to VGA dongle. At that resolution you arnt going to notice the difference.
