Siri "set alarm for 1 hour" - FAIL.

"Alright Siri, just cancel."

Speech to Text is already working on Android.

Speedtest was faster on GS2, and so was the camera, didn't Apple claim it was faster on the 4S?

Better maps and navigation on GS2, and bigger screen size.

Netflix opens faster, browsing is faster on the GS2.

This guy keeps making excuses and cheering for the iPhone as well. It pained him to say the Galaxy s2 is quite a bit smoother. LOL

Here's part 2

I don't think there's really a "loser" between the GS2 and the 4S, they're both plenty fast and will do pretty much everything that the other can. They're both great phones.

It's really now more of a preference between Android and iOS. I've had an iPhone 4 before and now switched to the GS2 and I just like Android more than iOS.

They seemed pretty equal, overall. iPhone went to contacts faster, which is something I would use frequently. Netflix load time one the iPhone was surprisingly poor compared to the GSII. Just sat there loading. Not sure what that was all about. Could be that the Netflix app for Android is just better?

The gaming comparison didn't really tell me anything.

Browsing seemed a dead heat between the two. They loaded page components in different order. He kept saying that the GSII had "smoother" scrolling, but the only difference I could see was that the iPhone scrolling had less travel per swipe. I like the greater swipe travel distance of the GS2; nice for flicking to the bottom of a page. Both were smooth.

Siri looked more robust in some areas but it also appeared more demanding of input. He also only did basic commands, so I don't know how they compare when it comes to deeper functionality. The error it gave when setting an alarm looked like a glitch, and I'm surprised it only looked for music on the device instead of grabbing it online like the GS2. Keep in mind that Siri for OS5 is still in beta iirc.

On a personal preference note: I think the GS2 is a little too big, and the iPhone a little too small. I wish they had bumped it up to about 3.8".

I love how he says that none of the two phones reflow text, when the Samsung obviously does it

I know huh, the text was way better on the GS2.

That's one of my gripes with the iPhone, the screen is just way too small for web browsing. I browse on my iPod all the time, and I always have to zoom in, and hold it sideways just to be able to read.

If it had at least a 4" screen, it would be better.

Nexus Prime should rock.

Me ruv 4.3"

Totally agree.. about 2 weeks ago i stopped using my 4 and got a SGII and although it was a sweet phone it had lots of things that turned me off such as battery life (i was constantly plugging this thing in for power) and exchange never really worked all that well even with a $10 additional app.

I picked up the 4s yesterday and was off and running with a comfortable phone in minutes... i think it really comes down to a user thing.

Now after this video i wonder if i didnt give the galaxy a real chance.. or if i had a defective battery..

The color seemed sharper on the GS2 as well, though that could be a calibration issue maybe.

Could also be just that AMOLED is superior.

The netflix part made me laugh. Loved how he said it loaded up a little quicker on the SG2, but the iPhone 4S never even got the chance to play anything yet.

You just can't use the phone as-is... You really need Juice Defender, you'll get double to three times the battery life depending on the settings you used. I picked up 2 extra batteries and a wall charger for $20 off of Amazon... best deal ever. I'll always keep a battery in my pocket.

Can't do that on an iPhone.

LMAO. People buy an iPhone just so you wouldn't have to do that. Carrying batteries with you and having to get apps to manage battery life when your OS and hardware should be managing it for it, very big advantage there buddy!

Uhm... It's an advantage no matter what way you look at it. Can you go 48 hours on 1 charge with an iPhone? That's what I thought. You're just close minded.

Sorry but if you're too lazy to take 3 seconds and switch out the battery to give you another 12 hours of battery life... then I don't even know what to say. You don't NEED(Bit it's highly suggested) Juice Defender... it's just optional and it'll actually extend a SGSII's battery life far past that of an iPhone. I've had an all the iPhones up until now (Except iPhone 4S) and the battery life isn't amazing, it's good though.

I'd much rather have backup batteries because I've had countless times where my iPhone dies through the day when I really need it.

I buy android because it let's me make the phone my own, it let's me have options. Don't be a dumdum.

Checkmate.
