I pre-ordered the day it showed up on Steam. I am glad.

Am I the only one feeling the game has been a little bit rushed?

Not saying it necessarily is so, just have that feeling such huge games usually require more time.

 

I cant wait to see user reviews of this game. Oblivion was a pretty huge disappointment but Morrowind was magical. The depth, the huge world, the freedom, the... crappy AI

. I remember I couldnt play it so I had to read the manual for hours and I was so excited.

Morrowind sucked me in like heroine. Lets hope Skyrim is good.

Um, what? Oblivion came out over 5 years ago. That's a very long time for a new game. Hell, Fallout 3 and New Vegas were both done since Oblivion came out. This game was in no way rushed. I just hope the game is better than Oblivion was. I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas, but Oblivion was one of the worst games I've ever played. Seems like either people loved it or absolutely hated it.

They have been working on this game for >3 years.

 

Nope.

It was confirmed by DCDeacon Pete Hines Twitter. It's a display error and he said it
will be released at 12:01am per time zone one Nov 11th.

 

I preordered mine at GAME, so I get it one day earlier... As always.

I can agree with people not liking Oblivion....but one of the worst games you ever played? You either must not have played many games, or have only bought a few and you liked them all haha.

I still think I'll wait for the GOTY edition to get this one. Looks interesting and all, but Bethesda loves to release buggy games and pretty mediocre DLC that I'd rather not pay extra for.

I loved Oblivion too, of course, Morrowind was the better game but I really hope that Skyrim is amazing!

The UK Steam store says the 10th, and when I do the ?cc=us trick for the Steam store in a web browser, it has the prices in USD and everything, but still says the 11th as the release date.

Still says the 10th here. From what I've heard, the game will unlock at midnight EST. So the west coast will have it at 9:00pm on the 10th.

 

I am more excited about this game than any other I can remember.

 

Bah... and I don't even have the time to play it, well I will buy boxed version and wait till I have a little more free time

You will still need to install steam to activate and play it.

If this was a game that required Origin to play you'd see the opposite of this about 10 times a page. Origin is evil and Steam was handed down to man by God, so it's all good.
