Easily a Korean IPS monitor. The colors are amazing. There is not ghosting what-so-ever. The price is perfect. Can't beat those.

EDIT: You can OC them though. Yamakasi Catleaps go to 90+ Hz.

 

They dont go anymore over 70hz only the 2B revision which are not currently at sale.

The only one that goes over 70hz is the multi input version which increases inout lags and there are some theories that its not true that they reach 120hz

You honestly won't notice a difference between 11ms and 20ms input lag. Human eyes only see so fast. I can say that after a long thought about the same thing myself between 120Hz + 3D or a Korean IPS is that I have no regrets after using this for a day.

 

There tons of comments from people with knowledge, in which you can see, that they are not running at real 120hz, they just run at 60hz and drop the rest of the frames out

That would certainly make sense. The panels are not rated to drive that kind of refresh rate and you can't just overclock the assistive electronics and expect it to process everything properly. That would also explain the increase in input lag.

 

But there was a Catleap's PCB revision named 2B, that could overclock to 120hz without getting extra input lag

 

Of course extra processing doesn't guarantee extra input lag. The 2B probably bypasses some elements of this. I certainly know that these monitors aren't designed to take full advantage of a 120Hz refresh rate. Whether or not they are actually able to achieve this at all is yet another issue. Do you have any links to the specific thread where people were methodically testing this and what drove them to believe it was 60Hz with frame doubling (etc.)?

Edit: The 2Bs do actually run at up to 120Hz 'properly' and you are saying the 'overclockable multis' don't? That is what I originally thought anyway and if the 2Bs aren't doing extranuous processing then there wouldn't be any reason for additional input lag.

 

Maybe there isnt a very difference in input lag but there is a different with how the monitor manages more than 60hz

Actually everyone that has the multi version has this problem it runs at 60hz and drops the rest of the frames

Ok this is what I thought. You see at first I thought you were suggesting that all of the overclockable Korean monitors processed in this way which threw me a little bit.

Yup,
the Catleaps with 2B PCBs can be overclocked and actually do crank out a 120hz+ refresh rate. The Multis can be overclocked, but the overclock has no additional effect. Those 2B monitors are tricky to get a hold of!

 

So what do you guys recommend me?

If you consider yourself a competitive gamer who must have every possible advantage, get a 120hz screen. Aside from that, the korean ips monitors look really great and a lot of their users are finding that the beauty of the screen makes gaming great to play. I would say just get one of those. One final option is to hope you can get a 2B monitor, but that may take some time.
