USB 2.0 vs 3.0 for Gaming Mice

Recently put my Deathadder 2013 (400 dpi @ 1000Hz) into the USB 2.0 slots, after using USB 3.0 for the past 3-4 months, and my mouse feels a lot slower in general, in CS:GO. I've checked Razer Synapse, my DPI/Polling Rate doesn't change or anything, nor does anything in Windows Mouse Settings. When plugging back into USB 3.0, it feels like there's some acceleration added, but when I swipe my mouse from far-left to far-right, I do the same degree turn as USB 2.0 in-game. I also used Enotus Mouse Test, thinking USB 3.0's Max Speed would be much higher, but it turns out that USB 2.0 gave me a higher Max Speed than USB 3.0. Everyone I've asked to test this, says their mouse feels no different in USB 2.0 versus USB 3.0, so is this not normal?

not only is enotus inaccurate but it doesn't actually tell you if the mouse malfunctioned or if you simply couldn't move your hand faster.
usb2 vs usb3 makes no difference whatsoever to the data that comes out of the mouse. if there is a difference i'd blame synapse probably

Yeah, I just tried Enotus for the hell of it, expecting opposite results honestly. Changing from USB 2.0 -> 3.0, Synapse settings don't change at all.

@qsxcv Trust me it took me damn near a year to figure out what was going on. I used to hit a wall while turning my mouse. My mobo is the msi g45 gaming and like I said earlier only after disabling my usb 3.0 in bios and forcing all my usb ports to run at 2.0 did that finally fix the problem. I only stumbled upon it while using microe's tester, when I moved my mouse as fast as I could the graph would flat line and look very odd, when I disable 3.0 support the graphs jump right up to at least 4m/s with my ss rival and my 2013 deathadder.

I might try that. As of now, I got a legit version of Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit), and a clean .ISO, and both USB 2.0 & 3.0 felt the same, but I installed USB 3.0 drivers this time.

i think we determined that that's because of synapse

I did not have synapse installed when I had my speed problems, trust me guys I tried EVERYTHING because I knew something was wrong. It IS my motherboards usb 3.0 controller. Nothing else. It's a rare case but it is possible because I've seen other people with the same usb 3.0 speed issues.

USB 3.0 Theories could be tested, but it would require one to buy the same mouse twice and most likely swap these mice around several times across the usb ports and then compare if there are clear differences when looking at the averages.

Unless there's a clear difference in the plots, then one could do it with just 1 mouse.

well then it's probably because of the drivers windows loaded when you plugged into 3.0 vs 2.0

if you can still reproduce this issue it would be interesting to compare against corruptbe's synapse issues described above.

I usually never left Synapse installed, but now that you mention it, I did have it installed when I had those issues. I also did the Windows Update which updated the Razer Deathadder Driver version in Device Manager

Yeah, it's gone. My mouse is identified as Razer Deathadder in Device Manager though.
