Have you tried re-installing/updating your GPU drivers?

I've done that. I'm running the newest version.

Yea, that would be good to know lol. Afterburner is practically useless to me right now.

 

Just tested. Its something with the beta version. I installed the version that came with the 7970, and it works fine, no messed up letters. Is there a different version that I can try that has the features of the 2.2.0 12 beta?

 

=/ Not that I know of. Maybe try the other versions on the MSI Afterburner website?

 

I tried other versions. But I eventually fixed it. Apparently when I was uninstalling it I was leaving the settings behind. I manually deleted them and reinstalled, and it worked fine again. The settings must have been corrupt.

 

Glad you got it figured out. And from now on, if I or anyone I know ever has this problem again, I'll be sure to tell them to make sure their settings were completely removed.

Doesn't matter if it's so simple and dumb, I'm sure someone else has had a problem like this before, but they were afraid to ask. You probably helped a lot of people out with this thread.
