What's the best overclock settings for MSI 1070 TI Armor?

What are the best performance settings for this card using Afterburner? I don't want to fry the card, just gain some noticeable performance.

Specs
Gigabyte B360M DS3H
Intel i5-9600K Unlocked
Kingston HyperX Fury 16 GB DDR4-2133 DDR4 SDRAM

Every same chip (1070ti) clocks different, you only know by trying.

My 1070ti (strix advanced) is running +213mhz core and +400 memory.
Boosting to a constant 2113mhz on the core.
With fan profile i keep it under 60 degrees celcius, when it hits 61+ it falls back to 2101mhz.

You can OC it manually or you could use the OC scanner within afterburner if your afraid of damaging the card as it should'nt let that to happen.

To do that,open AB,and set Voltage,power and temp limits to max,then to the left of the core clock speed you should see some little bars,click on them and the window that opens theres a button top right that says OC scanner,click that and then run it,it will take a while so dont do anything else on your pc.
My 1070ti is at 2062 core using the scanner so i just leave as is,memory depends on what type,so use gpu-z to tell what memory your card has(Samsung,Micron),mine is micron and as above i have +400 on it and its been fine with that.

I too have the micron card.

These were my results with the setting you used. My mem clock was 210.

edit: Red Dead Redemption 2 launches but freezes instantly.
edit2: Lower the core clock to 152 and the game is running fine. Going to try FS2020 next.

You have no way of damaging the card if its a simple msi afterburner install that you are using to overclock, other than intentionally blocking airflow to the card.

Worst case scenario, you have to hold F8 during windows bootup and enter safemode, and delete or adjust any settings that cause constant crashing.

Other than that annoyance, you are meltdown-free from whatever you try to do in the software.

afaik you cant damage the card unless you do something to it physically as it has many limiters to prevent such a thing from occurring.

get some benchmark software and msi afterburner and just try to overclock the core first, then start with the memory. You can see other peoples overclocks to get a good baseline, but you cant just simply copy their settings since every chip is different (silicon lottery).

For gtx 10XX cards, my best overclocking potential has always being to use the OC graph to the left of the core offset bar, and lock a specific frequency to a specific voltage.

offset clocking, which is what most people do, tends to be unstable when you elast expect it. Alot of the time, it is simply from the card trying to run too low of voltage, not necessarily trying to boost clocks too high.

MSI afterburner and I think evga precision do this. My experience is only with MSI Afterburner though.

my 1080TI struggled to hit a stable 1935mhz or so, and after tweaking and testing, was able to get it to reliably game at 2088mhz. I have to keep the core COOL though. Whenever it is above 55*C, it seems to really hate life and be glitchy and sometimes even freeze up while the driver restarts.
My compromise was to simply lower the clocks to 2012mhz at the same voltage, and its never stuttered since unless above 70*C core temp.
