I never really noticed much of a difference.
I mean you can set 24 Bit within options, but what will that do? that would only work for 24 bit tracks and cd's.
Set your rate too 48KHZ? will that make a difference either? since most music is decoded at 44KHZ anyways, setting to 48KHz would make the music sound more horrible than good.
And what about the Noise Sharpener? do you really want your music to sound like its trebled straight from hell? when you can just set the X-fi Crystalizer to 100%.
And what other options? an equalizer? well you get one built into the X-FI and winamp, would foobar's equalizer make a difference?
Tell me the reasons why Foobar is so much better, and maybe ill switch to it.
I got an X-fi Gamer and Z5300E's.
