I bet Rain knows.

Drivers for windows64 is a nightmare. If you can find the drivers, it will work very well...but not for gaming and what not.

Stick with WinXP if you plan on USING your computer often and for all sorts of things.

If all you do is search the web, MAYBE play some music, then Win64 is ok.

I will say Win64 folds like a mutha though...but isnt much good for other things.

Can't even benchmark Windows64

Got a spare drive to swap in or a USB HD to put it on and boot from to play?
If so go find all the drivers if available and try it and lets us know how it goes.

Hi as An OEM System Builder i Can Quite happily say DO NOT install that software, no stable drivers(yet), and the 64-bit element wont give u even 1 extra 3dmark (quite the opposite, u'll lose bout 200-300 depending on hardware).

it is currently beta (thats y its free 2 download from https://microsoft.order-9.com/winxp6...=winxp64&id=cd), do not use -- wait till all the bugs are ironed out even then the software has to be written for 64-bit (far cry has some 64-bit support using normal WINx32)
-- do not use stick with XP Pro SP2

Well I don't know about these guys, But with my rig, I got all the driver's I needed. And the generic ones they had for certain elements worked fine. Personally I found better performance with it. But I am planning to take it off and put Mandrake 10 for AMD64 on and give it a spin.

As for 3d mark 03,

my score went up by 25 points in Win XP 64bit.
