Long story short, grandpa passed away and left me some things and one of them was a X370 Taichi, never used.
I have a Ryzen 7 5700X so I tried that and it would not post.
I was looking at the Asrock site and best as I can tell it needs a BIOS update, well, actually quite a few of them.
www.asrock.com
It seems this is the original Taichi, so I assume the BIOS is whatever it is from factory, so the problem I have is, I need to find older CPUs so I can flash the BIOS, but I am not sure what CPU or CPUs I would need to do this?
If I understand the chart, I would need to flash the bridge BIOS first
and it continues to say before flashing X BIOS make sure you flash previous BIOS
and this is the final BIOS I need to flash
so, can anyone tell me what CPU(s) I could use this to achieve my goal of getting the Ryzen 7 5700X working?
Any help in this matter is appreciated!
