Hiya guys,

Not sure if you guys were aware but recently on Facebook a bunch of Modders/Reviewers/Forum Owners and others were invited as Friends from the owner of a Ram company called AVEXIR.

After we accepted the friend request we got a message saying we were getting Free sample of there Core Series Ram.Their were tons of people they did this with and im sure many of you are here.

So anyway i was one of those people that got the invite and received the Ram which for now is just a set of AVEXIR Quad Channel 4x4 16Gig 1600mhz C9 1.5 volt Ram (Red).

So i would like to share the ram and just some quick tests i ran today when i got them.

Box Arrived from Taiwan :

And what was inside:

And here is the Ram actually installed and let me tell you,They are super Bright. I have 2 white cathodes right above this ram in this Photo and it clearly blows right through the cathodes.Lol you could probably light your whole case just with the ram.

And a quick benchmark which is basically a drop in and Benchmark. I didn't tweak it or anything so its basically showing the ram at stock settings. And it does very well for 16 Gig 4 sticks 1600mhz running in Dual channel at C9. I also later pushed the Ram to 1650mhz on my Sandy bridge Platform and really cant do much more till i get it on my X79 setups.

My Thoughts on the Ram:

For one it was a very simple install as i had no issues with the ram at all. I put in all 4 sticks and set the XMP and that was it.

Also for looks. This Ram is just absolutely incredible looking. I see allot of Modders or anyone for that Matter wanting this ram. Just for looks alone.

Stability: This ram seems rock solid for overclocking. I pushed my i5-2500K to 5Ghz and the ram ran flawless under Prime95.

Also from the Packing to the Modules themselves, this ram looks very well build and Very high quality and i think we will be hearing allot about AVEXIR in the very near future and seeing it in tons of builds.

"" I am in no way endorsed ,employed or Sponsored by AVEXIR. I am posting this because i really think its incredible new ram and wanted to share it with you guys.""

So what are your Thoughts , Opinions or Comments on the AVEXIR Core Series Ram?

Take Care Guys

Working on a set of 2400mhz to see what they will do but they will come in blue i believe . I did see Benchmarks of the 2666 Mhz ram doing over 2800mhz Stable.

We will see about the spreaders a bit later as i am playing with them right now .Lol

Going to just mess with 2 sticks since on a dual channel board and see what i can get out of them.

If i get the 2400Mhz they will be going in one of my X79 setups to mess with them for a bit.

I don't think they are a gimmick at at . they are a real contender i think we will see soon.I did see a review where someone couldn't get a 1600 set to budge over 1600 at C9 but i didn't find that problem at all.Bumped them up to 1650mhz and thats about all i got time to do so far. remember running on a dual channel board at the moment and i5. Will set something up with my x79 setup since waiting on stuff for that build anyway.

Take care and yeah def check them out more if you like. Very interesting Company and there next ram they are releasing is even crazier then the core series.

Oh to the Led question .This is just the Core series they make other Ram without LED's

Hope that helped a little ..

Hey I heard a rumor that there were specific models of the avexir ram that was using the samsung 30nm nand chips on their ram modules. Is that true? I have been trying for the life of me to find 8GB dimms that OC like the low profile samsung memory and I am really hoping that avexir is the answer.

Reviving an old thread! How do you make the LED's steady? I just got a kit that's the exact same as yours, and the lights strobe, and aren't as bright as yours. Were yours lit up all the way out of the box?

Don't know if you got your answer, but it is an either or option when you buy, it isn't selectable. You can get static or pulsing as options but not selectable.

I am also curious how this stuff is still working out for the people that have it. I am looking to put on a custom order for an 8 stick kit, but it would be for the finicky rampage black edition, so I am so unsure of what to do. Once I get custom laser lettering and colors, I won't be able to use them for much else if they don't work in the black edition!

I never knew there were two versions (or that you could get them custom ordered, for that matter), as I just got my kit from Newegg. I just had a look at their website, and it all makes sense now. I'll keep that in mind for the next time I purchase some memory. Thanks for the info, though. And it works just fine for me. However, I'm not into overclocking at all, (yeah, I know) so I wouldn't be able to notice any technical problems.

I can't seem to find that custom order website that I apparently found almost two years ago. I just poked around on Newegg, and the only one I could find that matches your criteria is an open box product, and I'm not sure if you're willing to do that. Maybe you could try shooting them an email? Unfortunately, you might be out of luck since DDR4 is catching on more and more as time goes on.

What I found: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820011022R
