hey,

I hope someone can help me with the following problem in have with my just newly build pc.
I have a ASUS ROG strix 570-e motherboard with a AMD ryzen 7 5800x and 2 16gb Corsair vengeance pro 3200.
when I use 2 ram my motherboard start up with the error 0D and doesn’t work, some memory failure I read, But when I just use 1 ram it’s starts perfectly. I tried the ram in both combination slot 1&3 and 2&4.
also does the motherboard say it’s on 2133mhz instead of 3200, when I use the overclocking the pc crash after A period of time.

I am having the same problem. It will post in either a1 or a2 as a single but not in b1 or b2. I have tried both sticks and they will post individually in either A slots. As soon as I put them in as a pair I get the 0d error code. After speaking to ASUS I returned the first board and have a new one, but it is doing the same thing. I am using Corsair Vengeance RGB pro 3600 but it shows up in the BIOS as 2133. Both sticks work individually in the A slots, and listed as approved/tested by ASUS

Any other suggestions?

I had that problem yesterday when i removed and replaced my old RAM that is broken the board will post with one stick but not two
You have to go into the BIOS and set the D.O.C.P to auto and not its profile and then you shut the PC off and now it will boot with both sticks

Its like the board will try and run with the old D.O.C.P profile and not with new profile so you have to remove it first by setting it to auto and then load it again afterwards with the new RAM

I have the same motherboard an Asus X570 Strix-E

I know it's old, but the manual says one way on my Asus Extreme V, and that doesn't work, but if I put it in D1 and C1, it boots. I think many times; those manuals may not be all that accurate.
I would update the Bios to the newest version, then set it to the right XMP profile in the bios, and go from there. You may want to try with 3 or 4 rams so you can test that it's not the slot. Also, test with other rams if you have some to make sure the bios is not picky about that ram; just to be 100%, if all that fails, contact ASUS and ask them if they have a ram problem with that line of the mobo and what steps to take from there.

Hi there Know this is an old thread but my solution: Remove your m.2 drive, clear cmos with power disconnected for 30 sec, boot with ram in A2 and B2 and let the bios read the ram and boom it boots - or tries without a harddisk but just power down and reinsert your m.2 and it works. Some kind of quirk between bios and m.2 when using pci-e 4.0 and ryzen processors. Might be a fluke between asus standard and amd standard build in memory controller that needs to coordinate before using pci-e 4.0

Do you have any more information on this I'm struggling with the same problem used to run 4 sticks and now I can only run 2
I'm running a Asus x570 3080ti gen4 ssd 5950x only runs with 32gb of ram now instead of 64
