I guess there is no 780ti 6gb on the way because that would just be a titanblack.

Looks like EVGA is taking the initiative themselves here.

Two of these in SLI for 4K or tri-monitor setups would be very awesome if the price isn't way out of whack.

I guess there could be a 6gb Ti, since it would still have compute gimped. It would make the Black almost completely redundant though.

TITAN and TITAN Black have double precision at 1/3 instead of 1/24.

No a 780 is a cut down titan (2304 cores vs 2688) with gimped floating point and 3gb less VRAM.

Must confess one of the reasons I want to believe that is cuz I don't want my 780 Ti's to become 2nd-tier too quickly.

Can you explain this or link me some info? I keep seeing this stuff about double precision and compute etc when the titan black is brought up, and it really makes me wonder
